premisses, And the Said Justices doe Report that Mr. Higgs in<lb></lb>
defending the Hundred of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55601_geo11">Ossulston</rs>

at the Suit of Morrice<lb></lb>
had a great deal of extraordinary trouble to find out &<lb></lb>
detect the villany that was consulted by the Said Morrice to<lb></lb>
charge the Said Hundred with five hundred thirty one<lb></lb>
pounds and ten Shillings And the Said Justices are of<lb></lb>
opinion that Mr. Higgs deserves for his trouble as aforesaid<lb></lb>
the Sum of five guineas which makes in the whole the Sum of<lb></lb>
eighteen pounds ten Shillings & Six pence which he ought to<lb></lb>
retain in his hands out of the publick moneys of this County,<lb></lb>
This Court upon consideration had of the Said Report and of<lb></lb>
the great trouble which the Said Mr. Higgs hath been at<lb></lb>
in obtaining a discovery of the fraudulent & wicked<lb></lb>
Practice of the Said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMGO55601_n25-1">George Morrice</rs>

in endeavouring falsely<lb></lb>
to charge & render the Said Hundred of Ossulston lyable to the<lb></lb>
Payment of the Said Sum of five hundred thirty one pounds<lb></lb>
& ten Shillings, and in consideration of the great care &<lb></lb>
Service done by the Said Mr. Higgs in obtaining Such discovery<lb></lb>
and in non prossing the Said action brought by the Said<lb></lb>
Morrice Doth ratify & confirm the said Report And is of<lb></lb>
opinion that an additional Sum of five guineas (over &<lb></lb>
above the Said Sumes of thirteen pounds five Shillings &<lb></lb>
Six pence being the amount of his Said bill of costs and five<lb></lb>
guineas mentioned in the Said Report) be allowed to the<lb></lb>
Said Mr. Higgs in respect of his Service, care & trouble<lb></lb>
aforesaid And doth Order that the Said Mr. Higgs be at liberty<lb></lb>
to retain to his own use, out of the publick money which he<lb></lb>
now hath or may come to his hands as General Treasurer of<lb></lb>
this County, the Said Several Sums of thirteen pounds five<lb></lb>
Shillings & Six pence and five guineas mentioned in the Said<lb></lb>
Report and the Said additional Sum of five guineas<lb></lb>
allowed by this Court amounting in the whole to the Sum of<lb></lb>
twenty three pounds fifteen Shillings & Six Pence, which Sum<lb></lb>
is to be allowed to him upon his account as General Treasurer<lb></lb>
of the Said County.</p>
