In pursuance of an Order made at the Generall Quarter<lb></lb>
Sessions held on Thursday the tenth day of July last,<lb></lb>
Whereby it was referred to the Severall Justices therein<lb></lb>
named or to any Three of them, to Consider of the best<lb></lb>
methods for putting in Execution and rendring effectuall,<lb></lb>
the late Acts of parliament for Regulating the making<lb></lb>
of Bricks and Tyles within Fifteen Miles of London, Wee<lb></lb>
Whose Names are Subscribed being Five of the Said Justices<lb></lb>
and Referrees, having mett together Severall times at<lb></lb>

, And issued out our Sumons to the Searchers<lb></lb>
appointed by this Court, to give an Account of their<lb></lb>
proceedings, which having received from them, wee<lb></lb>
have leave to annex, But observing that it was too<lb></lb>
generall, Wee directed them to give a particular Account of<lb></lb>
the Names of all who had made any Bricks contrary to the<lb></lb>
Laws now in force, And also the Names and professions<lb></lb>
of all persons now under prosecution by their Direccons,<lb></lb>
And for what offences, that wee might be the better enabled<lb></lb>
to Judge of their Behaviour, But they have not hither to<lb></lb>
Complyed with our Directions therein,.</p>
<p n="1410">Wee then proceeded to Consider what Sort of persons were<lb></lb>
most fitt to be appointed Searchers, and are unanimously<lb></lb>
of opinion That noe persons now using the Trade of a<lb></lb>

Imployment, In regard of the Ill use they may be<lb></lb>
tempted to make of their power in Streening themselves or<lb></lb>
partners, and oppressing others, in order to in gross the<lb></lb>
making and Sale of the unparliamentary Bricks & Tyles<lb></lb>
for their own profitt, as was notoriously practised under<lb></lb>
the first Brick Act by Some of those professions, But that<lb></lb>
other persons of Still and Judgment be chosen to be</p>
