Upon reading the humble peticon of <rs type="persName" id="LMSMGO55600_n1348-2">John James</rs>

in this County Mariner exhibited<lb></lb>
unto this Court setting forth that the Peticoner hath Served<lb></lb>
in the Royal Navy upwards of twenty years in which he<lb></lb>
did his duty to the best of his ability and that the peticoner<lb></lb>
was with the right Honble. the Lord Terrington in the<lb></lb>
Barfleur in the Engagement with the Spanish Fleet off<lb></lb>
of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55600_geo1374">Palermo</rs>

in which he received a wound in his right<lb></lb>
Ann, which hath So contracted the Sinews as to render him<lb></lb>
unserviceable, and the peticoners therefore humbly prayed<lb></lb>
this Court to admitt him (amongst other poor Soldiers &<lb></lb>
Sailers) to the benefit of a pension paid by this County by<lb></lb>
the direccon of this Court, Now upon examinacon into the<lb></lb>
premisses, and an produceing of proper Certificates to make<lb></lb>
out the truth of the peticoners case Setforth in his Said<lb></lb>
peticon as the Law in Such case directs This Court being<lb></lb>
Satisfyed of the truth of the premisses, and that the peticoner<lb></lb>
is an Inhabitant legally Settled in the parish of St. Margaret<lb></lb>

admitted & allowed to be a disabled Mariner and<lb></lb>
pentioner of this County, And this Court doth further<lb></lb>
