<p n="31">It further appeareth unto us that Mr. Newton did grant a Licence for the Selling<lb></lb>

but not giving any tolerable answer or shewing any sufficient reason why he<lb></lb>

him a Silver Watch Value Eight pounds, five broad peices of Gold each<lb></lb>
of them value twenty three shillings and three shillings in Silver to be there<lb></lb>
Safely Kept untill from thence discharged by due course of Law, which<lb></lb>
discharge the Court of Generall Sessions did think to be illegall.</p>
<p n="33">We thought it our Duty from the great regard We have to the<lb></lb>
due Administration of Publick Justice to lay this present<lb></lb>
Representation of the Matters aforesaid before your Lordpps<lb></lb>
to the Intent that such Redress may be had in the Premisses<lb></lb>
as to your Lordshipps wisdome shall seem meet.</p>
