and saith that he this Deponent and Sarah Taylor and<lb></lb>
Susanna Stace in and about the middle of March Last did<lb></lb>
enter into a necognizance to our Sovereign Lord the King before<lb></lb>
the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of London for the Prosecutor<lb></lb>

And this Deponent further saith that he this Deponent and<lb></lb>
the said Sarah Taylor and Susanna Stace at the Sessions of Oyer<lb></lb>
and Terminer and Goal Delivery at the old Bailey next following<lb></lb>
the entring into the said Recognizance rolre ready and meant<lb></lb>
And intended to prosecute the said Sarah Dean otherwise Coxall<lb></lb>
otherwise Stokes And referefer a Bill of Indictment against<lb></lb>
her for the said Offence And that this Deponent had an<lb></lb>
Indictment prepared and ingrossed on parchment for<lb></lb>
that purpose And that the said Susanna Stace who reside<lb></lb>
in the County did then Come up to London for that purpose<lb></lb>
And this Deponent further says that on Saturday the<lb></lb>
Seventieth day of April being on day on which the said<lb></lb>
Sessions were helding at the Old Bailey this Deponent<lb></lb>
applied to one of the Officers or door keepers at the Old Bailey<lb></lb>
and enquired for the grand Jury for London and was then told<lb></lb>
by the said Officer or door keeper that the said Jury was up<lb></lb>
in Consequence of which information this Deponent Conceiving<lb></lb>
that the said Grand Jury was entirely discharged for that<lb></lb>
Sessions did not nor did either of them the said Sarah Taylor<lb></lb>
and Susanna Stace prefers any Indictment at that Sessions<lb></lb>
And this Deponent further says that he hath since found that<lb></lb>
this Deponent misunderstood the said Officer or door keeper and<lb></lb>
that he only meant the Grand Jury was up for that day and<lb></lb>
not for the Sessions for this deponent afterwards found that the<lb></lb>
Grand Jury for London were not then discharged And this<lb></lb>
Deponent further says that the said Mistake was the true</p>
