whose Names are hereunto<lb></lb>
Subscribed on behalf of themselves and the rest of<lb></lb>
the Journeymen Taylors residing and working<lb></lb>
within the said City and the Liberties thereof.</p>

That by an Order made at the General Quarter Sessions of the<lb></lb>
Peace holden for the said City by Adjournment at the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15075_geo1">Guildhall</rs>

of the said City<lb></lb>
on <rs type="date" id="LMSLPS15075_date3">Tuesday the Eleventh day of May One thousand seven hundred and fifty<lb></lb>
six</rs>

The Court by virtue of a Power in them vested by an Act of Parliamt. made<lb></lb>
in the Seventh year of the reign of his Majesty King George the first entitled<lb></lb>
"An Act for regulating the Journeymen Taylors within the Weekly Bills of<lb></lb>
"Mortality" Did Order and appoint That from that time the hours of work for all<lb></lb>
Journey men Taylors Servants and Apprentices to Taylors and other persons<lb></lb>
employed or to be employed or retained as Taylors in the making up Men's or<lb></lb>
Women's Work within the said City and the Liberties thereof should according to<lb></lb>
the Directions of the said not die from Six of the Clock in the morning until eight of<lb></lb>
the Clock at night, except only that there should be allowed by the Master one<lb></lb>
hour for Dinner in the time aforesaid And that for the time or hours of Work<lb></lb>
aforesaid there should be paid unto every Journeyman Taylor or other person<lb></lb>
employed or to be employed or retained as a Journeyman Taylor over & besides<lb></lb>
three half pence for Breakfast which is allowed by the said Act for his Work<lb></lb>
during the hours aforesaid instead of the Sums mentioned in the said Act, th<obscured></obscured>

Sums following (that is to say) From that time until the twenty fourth day of<lb></lb>
June then next any Sum not exceeding two shillings and six pence by the<lb></lb>
day, and from the said Twenty fourth day of June until the twenty fifth day<lb></lb>
of March following any Sum not exceeding two shillings and two pence by <lb></lb>
the day And afterwards from every twenty fifth day of March until the twenty<lb></lb>
fourth day of June following any Sum not exceeding two shillings and six<lb></lb>
pence by the day And for the rest of the year any Sum not exceeding Two<lb></lb>
shillings and two pence by the day.</p>
