That yor. Petrs. said Parish being very small consisting but of<lb></lb>
23 house their Churchwarden by mistakeing in a returne to the Precept<lb></lb>
directed to them from the Right Honoble. the late Lord Maior of this<lb></lb>
City to give an account of their Poore and the charge of mainteyning<lb></lb>
them Certified £38:3s:9d as for the charge of their Poore for one Yeare<lb></lb>
which said sume was the charge of their Poore for 3 severall yeares<lb></lb>
to witt for the yeares 1695 1696 & 1697</p>
<p n="470">And their said Parish being charged by virtue of the late Act.<lb></lb>
of Comon Councill to pay £19:1s:9d to the Corporation established<lb></lb>
by the said Act for setting the Poore on worke</p>
<p n="471">Now yor. Petrs. in respect of the smallnesse of their Parish<lb></lb>
And the greate charge of Poore therein which They have<lb></lb>
to mainteyne desire that yor. Lopp. & Worpp. will be pleased<lb></lb>
to releive your Petrs And to order the Abatement of the<lb></lb>
said sume of £19:1s:9d to such sume in Pportion to what<lb></lb>
doth truely arise Yearely for mainteyining the Poore of their<lb></lb>
said Parish They being only releivable by this Courte</p>
