That the Clarke of yor. Petrs. Parish by mistate in a Returne to the<lb></lb>
Precept directed to them from the Right Honoble. the Late <rs type="occupation" id="LMSLPS15010_occ6">Lord Maior</rs>

of this City to give an account of their Poore and the charge of mainteyning<lb></lb>
than hee made a returne of the sume of £133. for one yeare which was the<lb></lb>
totall sume of all the Pavements made me every respott for & concerning the<lb></lb>
same Whereas intruth the true charge of their Poore amounts to no more<lb></lb>
than about £45. Yearely</p>
<p n="4">And their said Parish being charged by virtue of the late Act of Comon<lb></lb>
Councill to pay 66:10:2 to the Corporacon established by the said Act<lb></lb>
for setting the Poore on worke</p>
<p n="5">Now yor. Pertrs. in respect of the Smallnesse of their Parish And<lb></lb>
the greate number of Poore therein which they have to<lb></lb>
mainteyned Desire that yor. Hopp. and Worpps. will be pleased to<lb></lb>
releice yor. Petrs. and to order the abatement of the said sume<lb></lb>
of £66:10s:2 to such sume in & Pencon To what doth truely a wise<lb></lb>
by their assessment for mainteyining the Poore of their said<lb></lb>
Parish They being only releivable by this Courte</p>
