Sayeth</p>
<p n="786">That he this Informt was abt. Munday or tuesday ye 22d of Sept last<lb></lb>
desired by Mr Atkinson to goe wth. him into Harfordshire, to receive Severall<lb></lb>
debts due to him there And this Informt. in Ordr. to recover ye Same, Sued a<lb></lb>
Lat forth of ye Cort of Kt. Bench, agt, four Severall Defender & had Warrts.<lb></lb>
thereupon from in Pemberton Under Sherriffe of Harfordshire But he<lb></lb>
this Informt. haveing often heard ye Sd. Mr. Atkinson & others talke much of<lb></lb>
bringing home Cargoes as they Cald them, he this Informt. often tould ye sd.<lb></lb>
Mr Atkinson, that if he went wth. him, he would not comerne himself in<lb></lb>
any Such bilking unlawfull bargains, wth ye sd Mr Atkinson prinsed him faithfully<lb></lb>
he should not doe, And this Informt. further Saith ye on fryday ye 26th. of Sept.<lb></lb>

in the Fair there he looked upon a horse, tooke ye Owners name & place of aboad<lb></lb>
in his pocket booke: from Harford we went that night toware, where on<lb></lb>

agree for over night, gave the man halfe a Crowne in Earnest, & there alsoe<lb></lb>
bought other two, gave ye one Man 5s, & the other 6s; in Earnest, And ordered<lb></lb>
them all to be dd to him at ye Red Lyon in <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15004_geo494">Fleetstreet</rs>

Early next morneing, but when this Informt, came to his Lodgings, he ye sd Mr.<lb></lb>
Atkinson was up & gon 3 howers before, And when this Informt. came to ye blew<lb></lb>
Ball in Salsbury Cort, he there found one Mr Pearson Sealeing up a bag of<lb></lb>
money ticketed £84: not long after in comes Mr Atkinson Prsently after<lb></lb>
comes Corne Ever & Bowers: Bowers was to receipts his groome, Eves<lb></lb>
a great Marchant & was pvided of bills receipts Etc. Pearson was to buy if<lb></lb>
horses, Mr Atkinson desired Cornes Assistance; then they concluded ye the horses<lb></lb>
after they came to ye Red Lyon, Should be removed to ye Boult & Tunn in<lb></lb>
