<p n="733">This Exaiant saith that he was never Guiltie of Clipping or<lb></lb>
Counterfeiteing the Currant Coyne of this Realine nor<lb></lb>
of any other treason what soever, and saith that on<lb></lb>
thursday morneing last about three of the Clock some<lb></lb>
Psons came to this Deponts. house and Knock at the<lb></lb>
dore and demands Entrance, wch being opened to them<lb></lb>
they came in, and went up Stairer and searched a Chest<lb></lb>
of Drawery and break open Senall trunks & pr tended<lb></lb>
to search haveing a warrt: agt: this Exaiant for high<lb></lb>
Treason, and after they had searched as much as they<lb></lb>
pleased they seized upon this Exaiant and his wife and<lb></lb>
Maid servant, and alsoe seized on a silver Tankard<lb></lb>
and as much other plate as is worth about five and<lb></lb>
twentie pounds, and lockt up the Dores and carried<lb></lb>
this Exaiant and his wife and Servt: to one Mr Kitsons<lb></lb>
house but they kept the plate themselves, although<lb></lb>
this Exaiant desired it might remains. in ye Constable<lb></lb>
hands, And this Exaiant further saith the Psons yt<lb></lb>
