That upon Clarys. seeing this ChestSaid. that<lb></lb>

it by the Handle, That the Remains of the Chest<lb></lb>
were afterwards entirely dug out of the Ruins, but<lb></lb>
upon carefully searching the Content, to this<lb></lb>
Informants astonishment, nothing was found in<lb></lb>
itbut a considerable Quantity of Hay Banks<lb></lb>
Rolls of Paper. and other Rubbishthe whole<lb></lb>
of which appeard to have been dep'd or Soakd in<lb></lb>

seeing the Contents of this Chest not consumed, he<lb></lb>
endeavourd to Destroy it, by taking out the Rolls.<lb></lb>
of Paper tearing them in Pieces, and Streding<lb></lb>
them in diferent parts of the Ruins, untill<lb></lb>
he was prevented from so doing, by the Surveyor<lb></lb>
who forbid him to proceed any further, &<lb></lb>
ordered this Informant, to prevent the Sufferer <lb></lb>
from meddling any men with them,<lb></lb>
That this Informant observed to Clary<lb></lb>
when he found the Lock among the Ruins that<lb></lb>
of he had the Key, it would prove wether<lb></lb>
