now present about five Months that about 7 o Clock<lb></lb>
in the Morning on Sunday the 25th day of December last this<lb></lb>
Informant being in his bed in the black parlour of his said House<lb></lb>
he was alarmed by the cry of some of his Lodgers, and upon opening<lb></lb>
the Door which leads into the passage of his House he saw three<lb></lb>
Men go out with Loads upon their Shoulderswhich Loads then<lb></lb>
appeared to this Informant to be Lead and is very sure that it was Leadthat he is very sure<lb></lb>
that the last Man of the three was the Prisoner and behind him<lb></lb>
was his Wife and upon this Informants asking what the Devil<lb></lb>
do you do there his Wife replyd that they were only going to<lb></lb>
Prayersafter which nothing further partthat about 12 o Clock<lb></lb>
next day this Informant went to the top of his House when he<lb></lb>
discovered that a considerable Quantity of Lead had been taken<lb></lb>
away amounting as he believes to about Three Hundred weight<lb></lb>
and about Four hundred weight cut and rolld up ready to be taken away<lb></lb>
that he is very sure the Prisoner is the last Man of the three who went<lb></lb>
out his Passage on said Sunday Morning with Loads upon their<lb></lb>
Shoulders and therefore doth suspect and believe that he was privy<lb></lb>
to and concerned in Stealing his said Lead</p>
