<p n="2265">Who being on Oath for themselves severally say and first<lb></lb>
the said <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45030_n2265-1">John Dod</rs>

for himself saith that expecting a Draft for<lb></lb>
thereby nine Founds to be brought to this Informant House on Saturday last for<lb></lb>
Payment he left with his son George John Dod now Present<lb></lb>
a thirty Pound Bank Note No. 8641 payable to <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45030_n2265-3">Abraham Newland</rs>

an half in Gold (Six of which were now Guineas) and one Shilling<lb></lb>
and six pence in Silver in order to discharge the said Draft<lb></lb>
whom if came, and all which, he put into Brown Bag and gave to his son for that purpose<lb></lb>
And the said George John Dod for himself saith that on<lb></lb>
Saturday Morning about ten o' Clock he received of his<lb></lb>
Father the said <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45030_n2265-5">John Dod</rs>

Bank Note for Thirty Pound eight Guineas and a half in<lb></lb>
Gold and one Shilling and six pence in Silver in order to<lb></lb>
discharge the said Draft when it came. That he put said<lb></lb>
Bag Note and Money into his right hand Breeches Pocket<lb></lb>
and about half on Hour Part eleven o' Clock the same day<lb></lb>
he went to take a view of the Corpse of the Princess Amelia<lb></lb>
lying in State. That he returned home about one o' Clock<lb></lb>
when his Father as being him what he had done with the Note<lb></lb>
and Money to pay the Droft, he searched for it, and Perceived it<lb></lb>
was gone, and is very sure that the said Bag Note and Money<lb></lb>
was feloniously stolen from him but by whom or at what place he cannot say And the said <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45030_n2265-96">Patrick Mc. Manny</rs>
