<p n="1592">This Examinant with the said Caddie and Stunnel about three<lb></lb>
Weeks ago stop't a Lady and Gentleman in a post Chaise a little<lb></lb>
beyond the Turnpike near the Belvidere Islington about Ten<lb></lb>
O'Clock at night, believes the Gentleman to be the Reverend Mr<lb></lb>
Bromley, took from him three or four Guineas who said on giving<lb></lb>
the money he had no more upon which Stunnel who was standing<lb></lb>
on the side of the Chaise next the Lady went round to the side of<lb></lb>
the Chaise the Gentleman sat on and said to the Gentleman that he<lb></lb>
had more (meaning some more money) and then cut at him with a hanger<lb></lb>
And immediately the Gentleman cried out "Lord you have cut me"</p>
<p n="1593">That this Examinant with the said Caddie Stunnel and Gray about<lb></lb>
three week ago stopt a Chaise in which was a Gentleman Lady and a<lb></lb>
Child in Tottenham Court road and took away their purses and about<lb></lb>
four Guineas and a bit of foreign Coin<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
afterwards throw away also<lb></lb>
a small Trunk box containing a Quantity of new Thread, Laced<lb></lb>
bobbin Needles Etc and he believes they also took a metal repeating<lb></lb>
Watch with little Holes in the Cases, The same night a little before<lb></lb>
the last robbery they stop't a Hackney Coach on the same road the<lb></lb>
persons therein said they were Servants and robbed them of a<lb></lb>
pair of Buckles. The thread<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
Laces Etc. taken out of the<lb></lb>
Chaise were divided between the partys and each had part of it<lb></lb>
to himself</p>
<p n="1594">That this Examinant and the said Caddie Stunnel and Gray<lb></lb>
near the same time stop'tle Coach in the City road Close to Moorfields<lb></lb>
in which was a man and two or three Woamen and took from<lb></lb>
them four or five shillings. That they also about the same<lb></lb>
time Robbed two Gentlemen on the same road near Islington<lb></lb>
one of whom this Examinant believes was a Sea Officer, of a half<lb></lb>
Guinea and about thirteen shillings in Silver and a hanger<lb></lb>
which Hanger was afterwards delivered up to Caddie</p>
<p n="1595">That this Examinant and the said Caddie Stunnel and Gray<lb></lb>
about a Fortnight ago Robbed a Gentleman in a Post Chaise near<lb></lb>
Pancras of a Purse Three Guineas and half a Pair of Mans new<lb></lb>
Shoes and a pair of silver Buckles</p>
