<p n="1616">Who being on Oath says that this Day a Person now present<lb></lb>
who calls herself <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45024_n1616-1">Mary Rose</rs>

Messrs. Thompsons and desired to look at some Thread<lb></lb>
Laces. That he shewed her some amongst which was<lb></lb>
the Card and Lace now produced. That she purchased two<lb></lb>
yards of Lace and went away. That as soon as she<lb></lb>
was gone he missed the <rs type="occupation" id="LMOBPS45024_occ351">Card of Lace</rs>

now produced.<lb></lb>
that he followed her into the Street, took hold of her<lb></lb>
by her right Arm at which Time he felt the Card of<lb></lb>
Lace under her Cloak. That he then brought her back<lb></lb>
into his said Masters Shop where he took the <rs type="occupation" id="LMOBPS45024_occ352">Card<lb></lb>
of Lace</rs>
