this Informant verily believes is for the Use and<lb></lb>
purpose of Counterfeiting the Current Coin of this<lb></lb>
Reason called a Six pence & this Informant<lb></lb>
further saith that upon Searching the said William<lb></lb>
Spedding he found upon him the two Bad Counterfeit<lb></lb>
Scissars and a Bit of paper with writing Importing to<lb></lb>
be an Enquirg from the said William Spedding<lb></lb>
what had been done with the two Duplicates that<lb></lb>
where in the White Mag where the Clippings was<lb></lb>
and this Informant also saith that he found a<lb></lb>
small Wooden Box containing some White Powder<lb></lb>
now produced in the Pocket of the said William Spedding<lb></lb>
and that upon his Discovering the said Box the<lb></lb>
said William Spedding shared a great deal of Concern<lb></lb>
and Maiety at the Discovery & endeavoured to<lb></lb>
knock it out of this Informants hands saying it<lb></lb>
was only a little Salt and afterwards & begged very<lb></lb>
hard of this Informant to throw it away that it might<lb></lb>
not appear against him for that he did not known<lb></lb>
which hole to creep out of Man as he thought it was<lb></lb>
all over with him<lb></lb>

And this Informant Jane Houghton for<lb></lb>
herself saith that she lives at No. 2 in Wells<lb></lb>
