Informacon of Eleanor Smallbrook lathen before<lb></lb>
me this 15th. day of June 1774.</p>
<p n="2454">Who being upon Oath says that She is a Chare Woman<lb></lb>
that last Tuesday night was a Week about 10 oClock she Came<lb></lb>
from Maidens at Pimlico Where She had been at Work that<lb></lb>
day that she Came by the Lock Hospital to Hyde Park<lb></lb>
Corner that Opposite to the Back Door of Saint Georges<lb></lb>
Hospital she was<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
overtaken by a Man who had some Spotts<lb></lb>
of Blood on his Waistcoat that she Asked him what was a Clock,<lb></lb>
that he Answered he did not know, that at this time She heard<lb></lb>
Somebody Crying out behind at a distance that She desired the<lb></lb>
Said Man to Stop but he refused and went on before her, that<lb></lb>
the Said Man Appeared to be in much Confusion and was Pale<lb></lb>
and trembled that this Informt<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
went on and when she was<lb></lb>
Opposite the Hercules Pillars two Men who Appeared to be<lb></lb>
Foreigners overtook her and Asked her whether She had Seen any<lb></lb>
Body in light Coloured Cloaths pass by her that she Answered<lb></lb>
there was a person just before who was all in a Tremble and was<lb></lb>
in light Coloured Cloaths, that the Said two Men Accordingly<lb></lb>
went on and laid hold of the Man who had Spoke to this<lb></lb>
Informant as above mentioned, that this Informant also told<lb></lb>
the said two Men she Suspected the said Man with blood on<lb></lb>
his Waistcoat had been about some Business that was not<lb></lb>
Right, that all the Conversation this Informant had with<lb></lb>
the said two Men who Appeared to be Foreigners was in the<lb></lb>
English Language.</p>
