& had been pursued for five Hours, And that his was a good Horse, And offered to this<lb></lb>
Informant to Sell him some Neck cloths and Handkerchiefs, who said he wanted none<lb></lb>

That this Informant as usual Every Evening did up the Horse the Night of 10th Decemr. about<lb></lb>
Six o Clock or after, And some time (to wit about 9 o Clock) be thought himself that he had<lb></lb>
not brought home with him (as usual) the Silvered Billed Bridle, Accordingly he went to ye Stable<lb></lb>
to fetch it, And on putting the Key to the Key hole the Stable Door moved from him, and the Lock<lb></lb>
was off and the Door was broke, And on his this Informants looking into the Stable for the<lb></lb>
Horse he found that the Horse, Saddle, and Bridle had been Stolen, and taken away;<lb></lb>
upon which this Informant went to Mr Shearwoods House to acquaint him of it, and<lb></lb>
heard that Mr Shearwood was at Mr Palmers at the Cross Keys Tavern in <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45018_geo39">Henrietta Street</rs>

the said Horse to be Stolen Sold it directly at one sweed land for 5 Guineas; And the Man who now has the<lb></lb>
Horse Man sweed land his name is Herod who was a Baker & now Keeps a Chandlers Shop in Croydon<lb></lb>
the daddle he gave to Wm Davey a Postboy at George at Croydon who now has it safe<lb></lb>
