said Waggon which he then refused. This Informant proceeded<lb></lb>

and was again accosted by the same two Persons<lb></lb>
for leave to ride as aforesaid. this Informant told them that <lb></lb>
if they would walk as far as <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45013_geo59">Tyburn Turnpike</rs>

on Paying the Usual Fare for so much of the Road they were<lb></lb>
Going The said Barnell and Hymes accordingly walked a<lb></lb>
little beyond <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45013_geo60">Tyburn Turnpike</rs>

when they Got up in the said<lb></lb>
Waggon Bed had not Eode above three Quarters of a Mile when<lb></lb>
Hymes pretended to her Sick and begged this Informant would<lb></lb>
Stop his Waggon and let him got down for that he should be<lb></lb>
Better if he Walked a little. This Informant accordingly Stopped<lb></lb>
his Waggon and they both got down when this Informant<lb></lb>
observed the Pocket of Hymes to Bulge out very much but<lb></lb>
took no Notice of it till he Got to the Swan at <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45013_geo61">Kensington<lb></lb>
Gravel Pitts</rs>

when Suspecting they had stole some thing out of<lb></lb>
his Waggon this Informant told them that as they seemed<lb></lb>
inclinable to walk the perceived they had some Luggage in their<lb></lb>
Pockets he would put it into the Waggon and they might<lb></lb>
Walk by the side of it They at first refused to deliver the Goods<lb></lb>
out of their Pockets alledging they were Smugglers and did not<lb></lb>
Chase to shew their Goods. But Hymes pulled out of his<lb></lb>
pocket an Empty Canvass Bag and immediately after a<lb></lb>
Paper Parcel which this Informant Sized and found it<lb></lb>
Contained a Cake of Castile Soap and directed to Mr. <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45013_n107-3">Richard<lb></lb>
Walford</rs>

a Flat in the said Waggon and that this Informant veryly<lb></lb>
believes they have taken other Goods out of the said Waggon as<lb></lb>
there are some other loose Papers in the Waggon.</p>
