<p n="1700">The Minutes of the last Vestry were then read and<lb></lb>
much debated on: and several Proposals made by some <lb></lb>
of the Gentlemen present, concerning the proper mode of<lb></lb>
Letting the Parish Estate at Ware which was first taken <lb></lb>
into consideration. Among others, Mr. Ridgeway offer'd <lb></lb>
to put it up at Bear Key to the best Bidder without charging <lb></lb>
the Parish anything for his trouble: and other Gentlemen<lb></lb>
thought it most adviseable to Let the same Estate by a<lb></lb>
Committee of the Church Wardens and Overseers at Ware</p>
<p n="1701">At length Mr. Tutet moved that the Church Wardens and<lb></lb>
Overseers do go down to Ware, and be empowered to treat with <lb></lb>
Mr. Green the present Tenant at twenty five Pounds P Annum<lb></lb>
and in case of his refusal with any other Person at no less <lb></lb>
sum and report their proceedings to a subsequent Vestry.<lb></lb>
And being seconded by Mr. Viner the Question was put but <lb></lb>

in the Negative.</p>
<p n="1702">Ordered that an Order made at the last Vestry that the <lb></lb>
Church Wardens and Two of the Overseers therein named<lb></lb>
be desired to go down to Ware for the purpose therein mentioned <lb></lb>
be now Revoked.</p>
<p n="1703">Mr. Johnson then moved that the Church Wardens<lb></lb>
and Overseers with Mr. <rs type="persName" id="GLDBMV30502_n1703-1">Thomas Ridgeway</rs>

being seconded, the Question was put and carried in the <lb></lb>
Affirmative.</p>
<p n="1704">Mr. Gretton then moved that the same Gentlemen be a<lb></lb>
Committee to go down to Collier Row, and treat with any <lb></lb>
Person or Persons for the Letting the Parish Estate there <lb></lb>
on the best Terms they can, and being seconded, the Question <lb></lb>
was put and carried in the Affirmative, Nem: Con:</p>
