Mr. Rutt, the late Overseers. Mr. Gretton, Mr. Maynard, Mr.<lb></lb>
Boyd, Mr. Lem, Mr. Hebert, and Mr. Roberts or any three of <lb></lb>
them be appointed Auditors to Audit the Account of Mr. <lb></lb>
Church Warden Woodmass the same to be Audited in one<lb></lb>
month after Ascension day.</p>

Then Mr. Richardson resumed his Motion, And<lb></lb>
after some debate it seem'd to be the sense of the Gentlemen<lb></lb>
who were for reducing the Fine that Twenty Guineas wou'd<lb></lb>
be too small a Fine. The said Motion was therefore<lb></lb>
withdrawn. And Mr. Pope moved that the Fine for the<lb></lb>
Office of Church Warden only be lower'd from Forty pounds<lb></lb>
to Twenty five Pounds; And being seconded by Mr. Tutet<lb></lb>
the Question was put, but carried in the Negative.</p>
<p n="1653"> <note type="authorial" place="margin">Fire Engines</note>
Mr. Church Warden Woodmass then acquainted the <lb></lb>
Vestry that Mr. Bristow the Engine maker had complain'd<lb></lb>
of the Fire Engines being out of Order, and had offered to <lb></lb>
keep them in constant Repair at a Salary of Four Guineas <lb></lb>

the Engineer was then Ordered <lb></lb>
to be called in, and he reported the small Engine to be in <lb></lb>
good Order. Mr. Bristow's Proposal for Repairing the <lb></lb>
Engines was not further considered. But Mr. Maynard <lb></lb>
moved that sometime in the Months of August and<lb></lb>
February in every Year both the Engines be taken out</p>
