Some Complaint being made of the Increase of Parish<lb></lb>
Rates and Expenses, the same were taken into Consideration<lb></lb>
and it seem'd to be the opinion of the Gentlemen present<lb></lb>
that the Expence attending the annual Perambulation <lb></lb>
on Ascension day should be reduced, And after some<lb></lb>
debate thereon, Mr. Viner made a Motion That no<lb></lb>
Ribons be given on Ascension day except to the Boys<lb></lb>
that go in Procession, And being seconded by Mr. <lb></lb>
Ridgeway, the Question was put, and Carried in the <lb></lb>
Affirmative And It was Ordered accordingly.</p>

Ascension Day}</note>
Mr. Viner then Moved that all the Inhabitants <lb></lb>
of this Parish be invited to Dinner on next Ascension <lb></lb>
day, and that those who have not passed the Chair and<lb></lb>
accepted the Invitation should pay five shillings<lb></lb>
each to be collected a week preceding Ascension day <lb></lb>
Which being seconded by Mr. Tutet, the Question was <lb></lb>
put and Carried in the Affirmative And It was Ordered <lb></lb>
accordingly.</p>
<p n="1563">Mr. Allen then Moved that the Inhabitants who<lb></lb>
have passed the Chair and accepted the Invitation <lb></lb>
to Dinner do also pay Two Shillings and Six pence each<lb></lb>
to be collected as aforesaid, And being seconded by Mr. <lb></lb>
Lutwyche the Question was put and Carried in the <lb></lb>
Affirmative, And It was Ordered accordingly.</p>

of Annual Suppers</note>
Then Mr. Maynard moved That after this present<lb></lb>
Evening the Suppers that were annually given at the <lb></lb>
Parish Expence be discontinued, And being seconded <lb></lb>
the Question was put and Carried in the Affirmative <lb></lb>
