The Minutes of the last Vestry of the 27th. Septr. relative<lb></lb>
to the Nomination of new Feoffees In Trust for the Parish<lb></lb>
of the House and Land at Collier Row in the County of<lb></lb>
Essex read and Confirmed</p>
<p n="1125">A Letter from the Revd. Dr. Curteis Rector of this Parish<lb></lb>
signifying his Consent to the said Nomination was also<lb></lb>
read, and Orderd to be Entered in the Vestry Book, as follows</p>

<p n="1127">I heartily big Mr. Chesson's Pardon for not sooner<lb></lb>
Answering his Letter of 29th. Sept. relating to the Nomination<lb></lb>
of Trustees of the Estate at Collier Row in Essex appropria-<lb></lb>
-ted to the Use of the Poor of <rs type="placeName" id="GLDBMV30502_geo132">St Dionis Backchurch</rs>

sit down to express my full Assent and Consent to the<lb></lb>

Mr. Chesson's Letter and shall most readily concurr with<lb></lb>
them in any further Steps which may be thought necessary<lb></lb>
towards Carrying the said Nomination into Execution.</p>

then acquainted the Vestry <lb></lb>
that a Deed of Feoffment of the aforesaid Estate had been <lb></lb>
executed by the Surviving Feoffees to the several Persons<lb></lb>
named in the said last Order of Vestry.</p>

Then This Vestry proceeded to the Choice of Parish<lb></lb>

but Mr. Church Warden Chesson acquainted the Gentlemen<lb></lb>
present that Mr. Davison had declared that he was In elig-<lb></lb>
ible; but as Mr. Davison had submitted to Fine for<lb></lb>
Collector of the Poor's Rate and <rs type="occupation" id="GLDBMV30502_occ367">Sidesman</rs>

in the Year 1767,<lb></lb>
He (the Church warden) to prevent any dispute had Caused<lb></lb>
the Opinion of Dr. <rs type="persName" id="GLDBMV30502_n1131-1">George Harris</rs>

the Effect, that Mr. Davison was not Eligible to the Office<lb></lb>
of Church Warden as he did not Personally Reside in this<lb></lb>
