other Person as Candidate for the Place with Mr Dixon that<lb></lb>
they woud Name such Person or Persons But no other<lb></lb>
Candidate being named or Appearing Mr Townsend Moved<lb></lb>
that the several Orders of Vestry made the 6th and 12th days of<lb></lb>
December 1738 And the 25th day of January then next<lb></lb>
following when Mr Lloyd was one of the Candidates for<lb></lb>
Lecturer might be now Read and the same was Read accordingly</p>

the Rights of the Parish<lb></lb>

Afterwards Mr Townsend Moved (as Mr Dixon<lb></lb>
was the Only Candidate) That this Vestry shoud proceed<lb></lb>
immediately to a Choice And that Mr Dixon might be Chosen<lb></lb>
Lecturer in the Room of Mr Lloyd (Saving always the Parish<lb></lb>
Rights to Choose by Ballott at any future Election) And being<lb></lb>
Seconded The Question was putt on the said Motion and<lb></lb>
Carryed Unanimously for Mr Dixon And he was thereupon<lb></lb>
Declared duly Elected Saving the Parish Rights as aforesaid<lb></lb>
And Mr Dixon was called in and acquainted with the Order<lb></lb>
and Resolution of this Vestry who Returned his Hearty Thanks<lb></lb>
to All the Gentlemen Present for their Favour to him</p>
