Gunsmith on his Oath saith<lb></lb>
that about half past Ten This Morning the<lb></lb>
Deced came into Mr. Richards's Shop and<lb></lb>
asked for a pair of Pistols, and on being<lb></lb>
asked what sort Deced Answered, Dueling<lb></lb>
Pistols Says that he shewed Deced a Pair<lb></lb>
and said the Price was Seven Guineas<lb></lb>
upon which Deced put down Seven Guineas<lb></lb>
saying it was a great deal of Money<lb></lb>
Says that he took the Money to give to his<lb></lb>
Master in the Parlour, and Deced went<lb></lb>
with him, that they met Mr. Richards, at<lb></lb>
the Door coming into the Shop, and Dept<lb></lb>
gave his Master the Money Says that<lb></lb>
the Deced had one of the Pistols in his<lb></lb>
Hand and asked for some Powder and<lb></lb>
Ball Says that he saw Powder on<lb></lb>
the Board in the Shop but did not see<lb></lb>
the Deced put any into the Pistol, nor<lb></lb>
a Ball, Says that the Deced walked<lb></lb>
into the Parlour and was followed by<lb></lb>
Mr. Richards, That they both come out<lb></lb>
directly and Dept. thought that they were<lb></lb>
going down Stairs to try the Pistol in the<lb></lb>
usual Place, That Mr. Richards, with one Hand<obscured></obscured>
hold<lb></lb>
of one of the Deced's Arms, and of the<lb></lb>
Knob of the Shop Door leading into <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65225_geo2079">the<lb></lb>
Passage</rs>

can not say whether the Deced discharged<lb></lb>
the Pistol designed by or that it went<lb></lb>
off Accidentally. Says that the Deced</p>

in a hurry to get his Business done</p>

that Mrs. Harvey ordered this Dept. to<lb></lb>
follow the Deced, who first went to the<lb></lb>

to make his<lb></lb>
will, but Deced did not go there Says that on<lb></lb>
his return home he was informed that<lb></lb>
a <rs type="occupation" id="WACWIC65225_occ1158">Gentleman</rs>

had shot himself at Mr.<lb></lb>
Richards's in the Strand, and hearing<lb></lb>
the Name of Harvey Dept. went in and<lb></lb>
saw the Deced lying dead there. Says<lb></lb>
that a Servant was sent Yesterday<lb></lb>
to Dr. Morris with a Message, That<lb></lb>
the Doctor came Yesterday in the Forenoon<lb></lb>
and sent a Man in the Afternoon to<lb></lb>
attend the Deced, on Account of an In<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
of Mind as Dept. apprehended, but<lb></lb>
Mrs. Harvey sent the Man back again<lb></lb>
