Yesterday in the Afternoon drove a Waggon<lb></lb>
laoded with Coals and Drawn by fowl<lb></lb>
Horses, to Henington, and was returning<lb></lb>
with the Empty Waggon about half after<lb></lb>
Eight o' Clock and being in the Road<lb></lb>
near the Duke of <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65225_geo809">Rutland's</rs>

upon the Shift of the Waggon Deced with<lb></lb>
his Whip Struck the Horses, that they took<lb></lb>
fright and run forward where Deced<lb></lb>
endeavoured to stop the Horses, but was<lb></lb>
not able and fell of the Shaft on the<lb></lb>
Near side of the Horses, and the Near<lb></lb>
Wheels immediately pass is over the Deced<lb></lb>
Head which Fractured it on the<lb></lb>
Right side, and Deced never spoke afterwd.<lb></lb>
but died immediately, and say, that<lb></lb>
it was merely Accidental, and says<lb></lb>
that the Horses and Waggon were the<lb></lb>
