chosen, who being then and there duty Sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the<lb></lb>
King, when, how, and by what Means the said John Damer came to <lb></lb>
his Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said John Damer, not being of<lb></lb>
sound Mind Memory and Understanding, but lunatick and distracted<lb></lb>
on the said Fifteenth day of August in the Year aforesaid at the<lb></lb>
Parish aforesaid within the Liberty and County aforesaid, a certain<lb></lb>
Pistol charged with Gunpowder and a leaden Bullet, which he the said<lb></lb>
John Damer then and there had and held in his Right Hand, to<lb></lb>
and against the Right side of the Head of him the said John Damer<lb></lb>
did then and there shoot off and discharge, by Means whereof<lb></lb>
he the said John Damer did then and there give unto himself with<lb></lb>
the Leaden Bullet aforesaid, so discharged and shot out of the Pistol<lb></lb>
aforesaid, by the force of the Gunpowder aforesaid, one mortal wound<lb></lb>
in and upon the rightside of the Head of him the said John Damer,<lb></lb>
of which said mortal wound he the said John Damer then and there<lb></lb>
instantly died. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath<lb></lb>
aforesaid do say, that the said John Damer, not being of Sound<lb></lb>
Mind Memory and Understanding, but lunatick and Distracted<lb></lb>
in Manner and by the Means aforesaid, did kill himself.<lb></lb>
In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner, as the said<lb></lb>
