with some Difficulty pulled the Deced out of the<lb></lb>
Ditch, Says that he observed no Marks of violence<lb></lb>
upon the Deced, and believes that the Deced Accidentally<lb></lb>
fell into the Ditch, and died there by the Inclemoney<lb></lb>

Oath saith That on Friday Night last (Decr. 31) between<lb></lb>
seven and Eight o'Clock, a Man, which Dept. believes to be<lb></lb>
the Deced, knocked at Deced's Door and asked for some small<lb></lb>
Beer which Dept. gave him, and afterwards asked for<lb></lb>
Bread and Cheese, Says that the Deced did not drink<lb></lb>
the Beer, but threw the Mug, which was on Earthen one<lb></lb>
away, and Deced immediately went away. but if<lb></lb>
being very dark Dept. could not see which way he went<lb></lb>
nor did he see him afterwards alive.</p>
