. on his Oath saith, That on Saturday,<lb></lb>
Night last (March 2d.) about Eight o' Clock Dept. being in<lb></lb>
his Master's Shop heard a gentle knock at the Street<lb></lb>
Door, which he opened, and then saw a Man & a Woman<lb></lb>
standing on the outside, the Man saying that something<lb></lb>
lay down at the Door, Says that he then saw a Bundle<lb></lb>
lying on the Step, and turning in to fetch a Candle he<lb></lb>
heard the Man say, that immagined a Child, Says that he<lb></lb>
then saw something wrapp'd up in a Linnen Cloth,<lb></lb>
which appeared to be Bloody, Says that a Young Man<lb></lb>
in Dept, presence opened the Cloth and Dept. then saw<lb></lb>
the Head of a new born Child but Dept. did not examine<lb></lb>
the Child, Says that the Child was removed the same<lb></lb>
Evening, and carried to the Parish Workhouse as Dept.<lb></lb>
was informed, That he saw a Child in the Workhouse<lb></lb>
this day which he believes to be the Child abovementioned.</p>
