last Deponent was informed by Mr. Pugh his Neighbour<lb></lb>
that a Coachman in drivers on Emp Canot <obscured></obscured>

Remembrance, Says that he immediately want to the<lb></lb>
Westmr. Hospital and Saw the Deced there who informed<lb></lb>
Dept. that he reced a Hurt, and broke his Leg, as he<obscured></obscured>

a Hackney Coach down <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65204_geo1422">St. James Street</rs>

Deponent, at the desire of he Deced, Called on Mr. Ram<obscured></obscured>

the owner of the said <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65204_geo1423">Coach and Horses</rs>

when he recovered, and that Deced was a Sober Mans<lb></lb>
Deponent says that some Workmen were repairing<lb></lb>
his House in <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65204_geo1424">St. James</rs>

Street, and that a small Heap<lb></lb>
of Mortor used by the Plaisterers lay in the Street near<lb></lb>
Deced's Door that when the Accident happened, that<lb></lb>
the same was soft and this Coach Wheels passed this it on<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
the 28th. Septr. Deponent did not observe the Mortor on the<lb></lb>
29th. Septr. but says that he ordered his Servant to spread<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
on the 30th. and that the Mortar on the inside was then<lb></lb>
Soft, but Dept cannot say whether it might occasion<obscured></obscured>
