An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at the Parish
of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex the twenty second day of November
in the twentyfirstsecond Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the
Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith Etc
before Edward Umfreville< no role > one of the Coroner s of our said Lord the King for the said
County in View of the Body of Emmanuel Joze< no role > and Abraham Baker< no role > then and there lying dead upon
the Oath of Edward Eginton< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. George Head< no role > Thomas Yeoman< no role > John Pontin< no role > Joseph
Ayres John Dinmore< no role > and William Lock< no role > and Thomas Brown< no role > good and
lawful Men of the said County duly chosen and Richard Marshall< no role > Thomas
Rider Thomas Wells< no role > William Stud Richard Williams< no role > and Shadrack
Dunkley Prisoners in the prison called the new prison and who being
then and there duly Sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the King
when, how, and by what means the said Emmanuel Joze< no role > and Abraham Baker< no role > came to their Death
Do upon their Oath say That the said Emanuel Joze Oling< no role > a Prisoner in
New Prison aforesaid in the Parish and County aforesaid on the Twenty
first Day of November in the Year aforesaid departed this Life by the
visitation of God in a natural way And That the said Abraham Baker< no role >
also departed this Life at the said Prison by the visitation of God in a
natural Way In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said
Edward Eginton< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. the Foreman of the said Jurors on the Behalf of himself
and the Rest of his said Fellows in their Presence have to this Inquisition
set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovewritten
