eighteen Months old for about eight Weeks past a that<lb></lb>
between the hours of four and five in the afternoon of Thursday<lb></lb>
last Dept. went out from said House for purpose of buying some<lb></lb>

that she left the deced on the floor of her Room (a one<lb></lb>
pair of Stairs Room of said House) near the said of the Fire<lb></lb>
as she thought perfectly safe-that when Dept. left the<lb></lb>
Room the Poker was in the Fire that in a few Minutes<lb></lb>
Dept. returned to her Room, Door said discovered<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
a Smoke<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
<lb></lb>
issuing from her Room On Dept. going into the Room who perceived the Cloaths of the<lb></lb>
deced to be all in a Smoke and burning but no blaze that the<lb></lb>
immediately took the Child up from the Floor and on taking it<lb></lb>
up she found the poker which she had before left in the Fine<lb></lb>
under the Child<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
from which circumstance Dept. is<lb></lb>
induced to believe that the poker had by some means fell<lb></lb>
out of the Fire upon the Child and being Hot had burned<lb></lb>
the Cloaths of the deced-that<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
the Child was<lb></lb>
taken end of the House for the purpose of being taken to Saint<lb></lb>
Bartholomew's Hospital whose Dept. understood is died about four<lb></lb>
OClock yesterday Morning.</p>
