Bartholomew the great maketh Oath and saith that on<lb></lb>
Wednesday Evening last a between ten and eleven OClock<lb></lb>
a Woman came to Depts. house and informed him a Man<lb></lb>
in a deplorable state was lying in the Street with in a<lb></lb>
few doors of Dept. House and beg Dept to go and look at<lb></lb>
him and try and as something for him that Dept. went<lb></lb>
and found the deced sitting upwright upon the Step<lb></lb>
pavement near of the door of a House close by depts. and one of the Water-<lb></lb>
-men speaking to him Dept. and Watchman spoke to<lb></lb>
him he seemed very cold and as if he was intoxicated<lb></lb>
with Liquor Dept. and said Watchman could get no<lb></lb>
answer of any kind from him only that he lived in<lb></lb>
Holbornthat Dept. and said Watchman took the deced<lb></lb>
to the Watchman of said parish thinking that the<lb></lb>
best place to leave him as he appeared so bad that<lb></lb>
Dept. left him at said Watchouse</p>

maketh Oath and saith that he hath the care of the Watch-<lb></lb>
house of the said Parish that the deced was brought<lb></lb>
the Watch house about eleven OClock on Wednesday Eveng. last by the said Mr.<lb></lb>
Wyatt that he was brought to the corner near the Watch<lb></lb>
-house That Dept. helped to get him into the Watch house<lb></lb>
the deced being unable to stand himself that Dept.<lb></lb>
thought the deced appeared to be intoxicated with Liquor<lb></lb>
that he laid the Dept. on the Floor near the Fire that<lb></lb>
he asked the deced several Questions but could get no<lb></lb>
answer from him that about one OClock in the Morning<lb></lb>
of the Thursday following said Wednesday the deced seemed<lb></lb>
very restless kicking his Legs about as he lay on the<lb></lb>
Floorthat he continued in that state about half an hour</p>
