half past six as dept was passing Staining lane a number of<lb></lb>
people who were about sayed something was hanging out of the<lb></lb>
two pair of Stairs Window of Mr Wittinghams house, and dept<lb></lb>

perceived something but could not distinguish what that it<lb></lb>
was conceived thieves were in the house, and a ladder was sent for<lb></lb>
& it was then discovered to be a Woman the dead, hanging out of<lb></lb>
the Window; Dept called to her and desired her to keep her where her hold<lb></lb>
& she should be released in a minute that Dept & three others entd.<lb></lb>
the house at the one pr. of Stairs window, and ran up Stairs & found<lb></lb>
the two pair of Stairs door locked, & Dept immedy. broke the<lb></lb>
door open, and then the deced fell into the Street-that the<obscured></obscured>

went down into the Street and took the dead who appeared to be<lb></lb>
insensible into the house & she died soon afterwards</p>
