Wharf he heard an alarm that a Boy had fallen over board<lb></lb>
and on looking over the side of the said Lighter he saw<lb></lb>

in the Water near said Boat or Skiff saw a<lb></lb>
Hat and the hands of same person who he supposed to<lb></lb>
be His hands of the said Boy who had so fallen over board<lb></lb>

said Wharf-and going from the<lb></lb>
said Wharf to one of the Coal Lighters moored near said<lb></lb>
Wharf he observed something like Cloth in the Mud-that<lb></lb>
Dept: got a Boot hook and hooked in the Mud where the<lb></lb>

he then got the Body up out of the Mud-and left<lb></lb>
