The following Motion was then proposed and Seconded;</p>

That it is the Opinion of this Court, that the<lb></lb>
Institution of Apprentices in this Hospital is<lb></lb>
conformable to the Covenants of the Indenture<lb></lb>
made between King Edward the Sixth, and the<lb></lb>
Mayor, Commonalty, and Citizens of London; and<lb></lb>
to the Letters Patent granted in consequence thereof;</p>
<p n="3726">And on being put, the following Amendment having<lb></lb>
been proposed and Seconded that all the Words after<lb></lb>
the Word "That", be left out, and the following Words<lb></lb>
added;</p>
<p n="3727">The consideration of the Institution of Apprentices<lb></lb>
be postponed, until the Report of the Select Committee<lb></lb>
of 1798, has been taken into Consideration.</p>
<p n="3728">Which having been put passed in the Negative, And<lb></lb>
the first Motion was then put and was carried in<lb></lb>
the Affirmative.</p>
<p n="3729">It was then proposed and Seconded;</p>
<p n="3730">That the Thanks of this Court be given to the Select<lb></lb>
Committee appointed on the first day of March<lb></lb>
1798 for their Report, and for the attention they<lb></lb>
have paid to the Matters referred to them.</p>
