<p n="1995">And had Resolved that ir be recommended to the General Court<lb></lb>
that a representation be made to the Court of Aldermen for their<lb></lb>
consideration whether it would not be proper to prosecute as an example<lb></lb>
to others one or more notorious offenders who had been repeately<lb></lb>
committed to this Hospital as Vagrants and were liable on Conviction<lb></lb>
to be transported for Seven Years</p>
<p n="1996">That notwithstanding the representation of the Committee on the<lb></lb>
14th of January 1795 and the Resolution of the Court thereon upon the<lb></lb>
29th of that month that numbers of Sick and Lame persons utterly<lb></lb>
incapable of Labour continued to be sent to this Hospital. The Committee<lb></lb>
had therefore Resolved that the Court be earnestly requested to take<lb></lb>
some effectual means to remedy this evil.</p>
<p n="1997">And had Resolved that the Treasurer be requested to Summer<lb></lb>
a Special Committee to receive and consider the Surveyors Plans<lb></lb>
for Building a Prison for the Men</p>
<p n="1998">Thursday 28th January</p>
<p n="1999">That the Committee Resolved that the Court be requested to<lb></lb>
empower them to contract for and carry into effect the plans of the<lb></lb>
Surveyor for Building a Prison for the Men which had been<lb></lb>
approved of by the Committee</p>
<p n="2000">And had Resolved that it be recommended to the Court that two<lb></lb>
Guineas be paid to <rs type="persName" id="BBBRMG20210_n2000-1">Wm Wade</rs>
