<p n="512">Whereupon the Committee had resolved that the Treasurer should immediately purchase £300<lb></lb>
3 per Cent Annuities of the year 1726 into the names of the President Treasurer and<lb></lb>
Auditor General In Trust for the benefit of these Hospitals.</p>

confirmed except a Resolution of the Hour Committee as to some Oak Boarder<lb></lb>
which was done away by a subsequent Order of the Bethlem Committee</p>

A report was then read from the Gentlemen whom the Court had desired to consider what<lb></lb>
Gratuities should be given to the Steward and Clerk of Bridewell for their extra trouble<lb></lb>
and attendance during the late investigation of the affairs of the two Hospitals, in<lb></lb>
which they recommend that the Steward should be reimbursed the sum of £36.11s.6d<lb></lb>
which he had paid for the assistance of Clerks and<del>that</del>
also that a Gratuity of<lb></lb>
Twenty five Guineas should be given him as a recompence for his own trouble and<lb></lb>
that a Gratuity of Ten Guineas should be given to Mr. <rs type="persName" id="BBBRMG20210_n520-1">John Woodhouse</rs>
