<p n="4515">Relations and Friends line at too great a distance for your<lb></lb>
Petitioners to enjoy their instructive conversation without<lb></lb>
being disobedient to your Orders.2dThat to deprive<lb></lb>
them to that beneficial happiness which the generally of<lb></lb>
your Petitioners eagerly desire and hope to be indulged in<lb></lb>
would be leave them entirely to themselves and exposed to<lb></lb>
the ungovernable dictates of unbridled Resolutions.3d That<lb></lb>
your Petitioners Submit to your Worships whether the exercise they<lb></lb>
can have within the Walls of the Hospital can be equal to that<lb></lb>
received from a Walk in the Country or so conducive to Health<lb></lb>
4thThat your Petitioners beg leave to observe that they<lb></lb>
do not feel that Alacrity to their respective Labour they formerly<lb></lb>
did feel owing to a continual confinement5thThat<lb></lb>
Your Petitoners submit to your Worships whether the.<lb></lb>
Punishing whatever Individuals may be found offending<lb></lb>
against your Orders will not be sufficient, or whether the<lb></lb>
Punishing the whole for a few may not discourage them from<lb></lb>
struggling to do well. That your Petitioners sincerely<lb></lb>
crave Pardon for all their past Offences as likewise for any<lb></lb>
this then fervent Petition or prayer may give Protesting they<lb></lb>
wish to enjoy the smiles of their governors and Benefactors and<lb></lb>
not to Offend Therefore relying upon the sincerity of their<lb></lb>
Intentions and Promising to have a very Strict guard upon<lb></lb>
their behaviour for the future they are prompted to hope this<lb></lb>
general Punishment will prove to be but a tempory one to<lb></lb>
bring them to a just since of their duly and should they be so<lb></lb>
happy as to gain belief with your Worships and by that Obtain<lb></lb>
their former indulgence of Freedom. It is Ordered that<lb></lb>
the said Petition be rejected.</p>
