Governors who had withdrawn returning into the Court Room the Terms<lb></lb>
Reported That the Number of Governors who Staied in the<lb></lb>
Court Room for Sr. Richard Glyn was 139 besides the two Tellers<lb></lb>
And that the Number of Governors who withdrew into the Dining<lb></lb>
Room for Mr. Alderman Alsop was 85 besides the two Tellars.</p>
<p n="1822">Whereupon The Right Honble The Lord Mayor declared <rs type="occupation" id="BBBRMG20207_occ2037">Sr.</rs>

the next General Election Day And the Comittee of this House<lb></lb>
were desired to wait upon Sr. Richard Glyn & Acquaint him<lb></lb>
therewith And he being in the Dining Room they Accordingly<lb></lb>
didUpon which he came into Court & Returned them his<lb></lb>
thanks for their Election of him into the said Office which he said He<lb></lb>
Esteemed as every Great Honour And that he wou'd Diligently<lb></lb>
Attend the Service of these Hospitals.</p>

Mr. Alderman Alsop Acquainted this Court He cou'd not<lb></lb>

A Motion was made and Seconded That the thanks of<lb></lb>
the Court be returned to Mr. Alderman Alsop for his Diligent and<lb></lb>
faithfull Discharge of the Office of Treasurer of these Hospitals<lb></lb>
which was Unanimously Agreed to and done Accordingly</p>
