Ground & not insured That on the Petitioners Walkers Petition for an Additional Term<lb></lb>
of 41 Years in the Said Ground the Governors on 18th July 1744 Ordered that on Sanding<lb></lb>
the Old Lease and paying £150 fine and laying out £1000 in rebuilding the premes<lb></lb>
burntA New Lease shoud be granted of the Ground where on the Houses Stock.<lb></lb>
that were burnt from Middsr. 1744 for 61 years at £8 P Ann (part of the Old rent of<lb></lb>
£26) Clear of TaxesAnd a New lease of the residue of the Premes in the<lb></lb>
Old Lease for the Remr. of the Term then to come therein at the rent of £5 P Ann<lb></lb>
(residue of the sd. Old rent of £25) Clear of TaxesThat in 1745 the Petitioner<obscured></obscured>

Agreed with the Petitioner Walker for the Purchase of all the Premisses and were Sincere<lb></lb>
Fire the Sd. ground has been unlett till July last the Petition Brown Agreed with one<lb></lb>

Accordingly Curtis has laid out near £2000 in building two Substantial houses<lb></lb>
with a Bake house & Ware houseThat the Petitioner Walker is ready for Surrender<lb></lb>
said Old Lease & desired that two Leases may be made to the Petr. Brown who is<lb></lb>
Willing to Accept Same & pay the said £150 but cannot perfect his Agreement with<lb></lb>
Curtis without having a further Addition of 4¼ Years to make the said Term in the said<lb></lb>
Ground expire at Michas 1809And praying that the two leases may be granted to the<lb></lb>
to the Petitioner Brown AccordinglyAnd Mr Brown being called in and Consenting to<lb></lb>
pay the said Fine of £150 and the further Sum of £20 In lieu of Interest for the same<lb></lb>
for the time pastThe Comittee are of Opinion that on Surrendring the Old Lease<lb></lb>
and Paying the said Fine of £150 and further Sum of 20s a Lease be granted to the said<lb></lb>
Petitioner Brown of the said ground and new Erected building on the South side of<lb></lb>

nevertheless Submitted to the Judgement of the Court And it is Ordered that this Opinion<lb></lb>
