four of the said Mosses with the Warehouses Etc were in the Year 1743 burnt down<lb></lb>
not being Insured whereby he was a great SuffererThat on his Petition<lb></lb>
the 18th July 1744 and proposeing to lay out £1000 in building four Messes Etc<lb></lb>
in the Room of the Four that were burnt the Governors were pleased to Order<lb></lb>
that on Surendering the Old Lease & paying a Fine of £150 for an Additional<lb></lb>
Term of 41 years to make up the Term then in being 61 Years in the Ground<lb></lb>
Where on the 4 Houses Stood that were burnt & paying the rent of £8 part of the<lb></lb>
old rent of £25) Clear of Taxes a New Lease Shou'd be granted of the said<lb></lb>
Ground for 61 Years from Midsr. 1744 which wou'd expire 1805 And a<lb></lb>
new lease of the residue of the Premisses Comprized in the Old Lease for<lb></lb>
the Remr. of the Term then to Come therein at the rent of £17</p>
