<p n="3678">The said Gentleman tells me the above Mentioned<obscured></obscured>
are all that have been paid into<lb></lb>
the Chamberlaines Office as he can paid but that he dersbelive there have been a great<lb></lb>
many more such Penaltys such for recovered and received, but not duely paid as they<lb></lb>
ought to be by the Persons receiveing them unto the Treasurer of this Hospital as the Act<lb></lb>
requires And that the paying of the same with the Chamberlaine Office is improper<lb></lb>
because the Chamberlain has nothing to do with it and the Receipt of it there is to no<lb></lb>
other purpose but to pay it back again to the Trear when required and therefore they will<lb></lb>
not receive any more for the future.</p>
