At this Court Mr President reported the State of the Accounts of both<lb></lb>
Hospitals as follows vizt, That the auditors appointed have audited the accot.<lb></lb>
of these Hospitals to Xmas 1734 and find the same right and that the<lb></lb>

Houses created thereon for 40 years from Ladyday 1715 at the yearly Rent of £8<lb></lb>
which Lease expires at Laday 1755That 5 of the said Houses being on the<lb></lb>
East side of <rs type="placeName" id="BBBRMG20205_geo1935">Wapping dock Street</rs>

<interp inst="BBBRMG20205_geo1935" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
aforesaid have been utterly destroyed by the late<lb></lb>
dreadfull fire there and other the premisses have been damaged thereby, and she is<lb></lb>
otherwise lyable to become a great Sufferer by the Arrears of Rent due from the late<lb></lb>
Tenants of the said Houses so destroyedThat she is advised, the rebuilding the said<lb></lb>
5 Houses will cost almost double the Sum they were insured at and she being in no<lb></lb>
Condition to execute the same unless the Governors shall enable her thereto by granting<lb></lb>
an Inlargement of her Term that she may be able to boome money thereon to compleit<lb></lb>
the said RebuildingThat she is advised the said other 3 houses yet standing are in<lb></lb>
so bad a Condition that they will need Rebuilding before the expiration of the present Lease<lb></lb>
and praying to Enlarge her Term in the said Lease to the Term of 61 years and that<lb></lb>
she may on the Ground of th houses so destroyed be at liberty to rebuild 5. 4 or 3<lb></lb>
houses as she shall think fitt and that she may be at liberty to rebuild when necessary<lb></lb>
any of the other three Houses now standing or may be otherwise relievedThe<lb></lb>
Committee have since taken a new of the said premisses and did acquaint the said Mr.<lb></lb>
Arbuthnell that she should alter her proposal and make another respecting only the 5<lb></lb>
Houses that were burntWhereupon the said Mrs Arbuthnell proposed to this Comm<lb></lb>
That she would take a Lease of the said 5 houses for 61 years to commence from the<lb></lb>
time of rebuilding the same in lieu of so much of the time in the present Lease as<lb></lb>
remains unexpired and that the said Ground rent be divided and the Merely thereof<lb></lb>
remain payable for the said 3 houses yet standing and the remaining Merely be<lb></lb>
reserved for the Ground Rent of the said 5 Houses so destroyed and that an<lb></lb>
Additional Rent of £2. P Ann be added thereto or in lieu thereof to pay a Fine of<lb></lb>
£50. and that she may be at liberty to rebuild on the Ground of the said free<lb></lb>
Houses 5.4 or 3 New Houses at her Option, and proposed to lay out £800. or £750<lb></lb>
in such Rebuilding and to pay a Pepper Corn Rent for the first yearThis<lb></lb>
Committee having considered of the said proposals are of Opinion that upon the said<lb></lb>
Mrs Arbuthnott's surrendring the said Lease in being and paying the said old Ground<lb></lb>
Rent to Laday lasta new Lease be granted he of the 3 houses which are<lb></lb>
standing for the remainder of the said Term of the old Lease at £4. P and rent<lb></lb>
And that upon her paying a line of £50. & agreeing to layout £800. in rebuilding<lb></lb>
according to the 2d. rate of Building upon the Ground whereon the 5 Houses stood the like<lb></lb>
Quantity of Building as was contained in the said 5 Houses a new Lease be granted he<lb></lb>
the Ground whereon the sd 5 houses stood for a Term of 61 years from Laday last at the rent of<lb></lb>
£4 P ann wth the like Covents. as are in the Old Lease to which the said Mrs Acbuthnell agreed<lb></lb>
gave half a Guinea to the Peers box all wch never the less in submitted to the Judgmt. of the Courtand it<lb></lb>
Ordered that this opinion be reported to the next CourtThis Court doth carfirm the<lb></lb>
Report order that Leases be made to the said Mrs Arbuthnott according.</p>
