Midsr. last for that their Salarys are but small It is Ordered that the Clerk of<lb></lb>
these Hospitals do give & pay unto them forty Shillings a piece to be allowed him in his next<lb></lb>

of Bridewell In Trust for the use & benefit of the said Hospital The said Mrs.<lb></lb>
Longford had already receiv'd about £1000. in Money of the said Testators Estate<lb></lb>
which She was unwilling to put out upon Securities which may happen to be precarious<lb></lb>
or defective but chose rather to pay the same into the hands of the Treasurer for the<lb></lb>
benefit of the said Hospital In Case the Governors woud please to allow her<lb></lb>
Interest for the same after the rate of £5. in the hundred by the year for his<lb></lb>
life by quarterly paymentsAnd that the said Comittee taking the matter into<lb></lb>
Consideration were unanimously of Opinion that it woud be for the Security & benefit<lb></lb>
of the Hospital to take the money and to allow Mrs. Longford £5. P Cent Interest<lb></lb>
for her life but Conceiving they were not impower'd to make such an Agreement<lb></lb>
with her They desired Mr. Treasurer to receive such money as Mrs. Longford<lb></lb>
should think fit to pay him & to give her his Note to allow her such Interest<lb></lb>
for the same for her life as she and the Governors should agree upon at the</p>
