Shall think fittAnd in persuance of another Order of Court of the<lb></lb>
8th Instant This Comee received proposals from the New River Company<lb></lb>
That they are willing to take part of ye Ground where Mr. Armit and Cordwells<lb></lb>
Houses Stood provided Mr. Armit who has some years to come of his<lb></lb>
Lease to use at these to that the Ground they propose is 45 foot by 70<lb></lb>
adjoyning to the Companys Yard & down to the Ditch Side for which<lb></lb>
they are willing to give £30 P Annum or £25 P Anned & £100 five<lb></lb>
for 31 years from Michas next to expire at ye same time with the<lb></lb>
Lease to Mr. Ambler under whom they hold ye adjoyning GroundAnd<lb></lb>
the Comee haveing viewed the Ground demised to Newby are of Opinion that<lb></lb>
ye same is worth £60 P Anned & Mr. Armit being called in & asked whether<lb></lb>
or no he would give £60 p Ann for it from the expiration of ye sd Lease<lb></lb>
he answerd he was willing So to do & to build a house thereon according to a place<lb></lb>
which he now delivered in to ye Comee for such Term of years as ye Governrs.<lb></lb>
Should think fitt to Grant him Then Mr Cordwell was also called in & they<lb></lb>
both agreed to leave it to ye Comee to Settle Such Terms between them<lb></lb>
us the Comee thought fitt and they being with drawne and the Comee<lb></lb>
haveing Considered the matter were of OpinionThat the Lease<lb></lb>
from Mr. Armit to Mr. Cordwell and ye Counterpart be delivered up to<lb></lb>
be Cancelled and that Mr. Armist may go on with his Building according<lb></lb>
to the plan now laid before the Comee (which Mr. Treasr. Signed) and<lb></lb>
that Mr. Cordwell Shoud have ye use of the sampit between the stable &<lb></lb>
the new intended Building wth Liberty of bringing in laying and carrying<lb></lb>
away of Timber & Boards or Planks upon & Ground in length from his Shed to<lb></lb>
ye Ground of ye New River Company Southward untill Lady day next Rent free<lb></lb>
So as he does not incomode Mr. Armit in his Building or his passage & that Mr.<lb></lb>
Cordwell Shoud have ye liberty of carrying away ye Timber & Materials belonging<lb></lb>
to ye sawpittAnd Mr. Armit & Mr. Cordwell being calld in & acquainted<lb></lb>
there wth. agreed thereto & ye Lease & Counterpart were accordingly delivered up<lb></lb>
cancelledAnd ye Comee are of Opinion That a Lease be made to Mr.<lb></lb>
Armit of the premisses comprized in the sd Lease to Mrs. Newby for 24 years<lb></lb>
to Comence from the Expiration of he & Lease which will be at Midsumr.<lb></lb>
1727 (& will expire at ye Same time with ye Lease of ye adjoyning Ground) at ye<lb></lb>
yearly Rent of £60 payable quarterly Wth. ye like Covents as are contained in ye sd<lb></lb>
Lease to Newby he ye sd Mr. Armit being obliged to build according to the sd.<lb></lb>
plan Signed by Mr. Treasr. all which is nevertheless submitted to ye Indgmt.<lb></lb>
