the Parish of the Shape under the Church and a Peice of Ground thereto adjoining was <lb></lb>
Named of as settled by Council on both Sides But Mr. Heckford who is Entitled or Claims<lb></lb>
Title to the Premisses granted by the said Lease at the same time offered to the Committee<lb></lb>
another Clause to be added to the Bill to Prevent the Parish from making use of the piece<lb></lb>
of Ground for Enlarging the Church if thought necessary Which on the behalf of the <lb></lb>
Parish was Objected to and the further Consideration was deferrd till Tuesday next <lb></lb>
whereupon Mr. Heckford offered to sell the Parish his Interest in the sd. Ground</p>
<p n="960">Mr. Heckford Appeared & made a Demand of £50 for the absolute Sale of the Peice of <lb></lb>
Ground in Question. Whereupon after several Debates had upon the matter The Committee<lb></lb>

reed to give Mr. Heckford 10 Guineas for the Ground with Liberty for the Deputy in<lb></lb>

se he refused to take it to offer him 15 Guineas and Accordingly the Fifteen Guineas<lb></lb>

<p n="962">Whereupon The Plan of the Ground was again reviewd by by Mr. Dance and Mr. Price<lb></lb>

gave the Committee as their Opinion that there was not an Absolute Necessity for the <lb></lb>

King use of the said Peice of Ground in Question. Upon which it was Unanimously resolved<lb></lb>
dissolve the above Proposals made to Mr. Heckford</p>

d & left his wife Executrix And application has been made to her from time to <lb></lb>

for the Payment of the said Ballance but she Pretends her Husband told her <lb></lb>
