On the 10th of April, about half-past ten o'clock in the morning, the prisoner came down the area steps, and rattled the door; in about a minute he went into the servant's hall, took two pair of shoes, and put them into his bosom - He went out with them, I took him in the area, with them. They belong to Lord Lindsay and Captain
James Lindsay.
