311. MICHAEL HOLLINGSWORTH proceedingsdefend was indicted for stealing, on the 25th of April , one copper pan, value 10s. , the goods of Ann Dubois proceedingsvictim .

ANN DUBOIS < no role > . I am a broker , and live at Chelsea . On the 25th of April, between eleven and twelve o'clock, I lost the pan from inside my shop.

CHARLOTTE HOWIS. I live next door to Mrs. Dubois. I saw a man take the pan and put it in his basket. There were three of them together. I gave the alarm.

THOMAS HIGGINS. I am servant to Mrs. Dubois. I secured the prisoner, with the pan in his basket.

(Property produced and sworn to.)

GUILTY . Aged 29.

Confined Three Months , and Whipped .

First Middlesex Jury, before Mr. Recorder.
