LYON LEVY proceedingsdefend was indicted for feloniously receiving, on the 24th of April , twenty pair of silk and cotton stockings, value 5l. thirty-two pair of cotton stockings, value 4l. 13s. five pair of cotton and worsted stockings, value 15s. a pair of worsted stockings, value 1s. and three silk and cotton purses, value 1s. 6d. the property of William Higginbotham proceedingsvictim , of which William Bergen and Joseph Chase have been convicted, he knowing them to have been stolen .

The only material witness not having had notice to attend, the Jury found the prisoner.

NOT GUILTY .

Tried by the first Middlesex Jury, before Mr. Justice ASHURST.
